Well we put a new roof on our house... what a huge burden off our shoulders. We had a lot of help from some good friends and some new friends that decided to help out of the kindness of their heart. We finished last night at 11:15 pm and had over 13 people on the roof at one point anywhere from ages 2 to 40... girls and guys just hangin out and working. Some were eating Shell's scrumptious strombolli, some were holding up lights and the others were roofing like mad. We received a short visit from the local policeman but he was very understanding. Our next scheduled roofing party at our house is 9/11/2034 :o)

Summer's going well but we're pretty busy. Softball is over so we're trying to get through our landscaping renovations... We're in the process of taken down a monster overgrown apple tree and huge arborvitaes. I've been getting "milking" lessons from our Amish neighbors... they have a 50 count herd of Holsteins... it's a good workout. Shell got to take our Amish neighbors to the beach... reminds you of the new T.V. show "Amish in the Ciy" huh?

Went to church at our Amish neighbors today. Very interesting although I couldn't understand much.... some words I could extract were "Jesus Christ" and I'm sure I heard "Al Gore", "Ken Griffey" and "My favorite Martian"? 3 hours of sitting and listening to a few men speak in High-German. Sat through several hymns that took about 15 minutes each and had lunch afterwards... a great experience nonetheless! learn more from this link

Once again McDonald's has delighted me. First it was the Big Mac, then it was the Chicken McNugget, after that came the Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese and now today it is the McGriddle. I had a delicious layer upon layer of sausage, egg, and cheese delicately pressed between two pancake buns damp with syrup. What a wonderful combination! I'M LOVIN' IT!

So we won "Best Couple" at my company's Costume Party... Shell was very patient as she used Elmer's Glue® to stick fake fur on my face during our 1 hour drive to Harrisburg. It was good fun being Amish for a night! See more pics here!

When I got home late last night I asked Shell if we could postpone dinner and take some shots of the sun setting. She quickly agreed so we turned the stove off, got Curtis in his car seat, grabbed the camera and went sunset chasing. After about an hour and a half of shooting and running errands we came back and had a good dinner around 9:30pm. I'm hoping to get my Lancaster gallery up soon... stay tuned.

Welcome to No Worry Chicken Curry.com. The last 3 months have been some of the busiest of my life with buying and fixing up our new house and getting ready for our first baby... luckily I was able to chip away at this website whenever I had a spare minute. Now I am able to silence the critics (Dave and Rich) who said I would not get this site up before my retirement!
